(Un)mapping Infrastructures of Modern Art

Sanja Sekelj, PhD, delivered a lecture titled “Yugoslav Avant-gardes in France (1989–1990): Personal Networks and State Infrastructures in Late Socialist Yugoslavia” at the international academic conference “(Un)mapping Infrastructures of Modern Art, IV: Infrastructures of supporting travels and exhibiting modernism transnationally (1940s-1990s),” held at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań from October 8 to 10, 2025.

The participation is a result of work on the project DIGitART – “Digital network, spatial, and (con)textual analysis of artistic phenomena and heritage of the 20th century,” funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, being carried out at the Institute of Art History from 2023 to 2027.
