Contested Memory – Remembering Resistance in Carinthia and Croatia
Sanja Horvatinčić will take part on 11 September 2026 in Graz (Institut für Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Steiermark) in the panel accompanying the exhibition Putting Up Resistance? / Ustanovitev odpora? featuring a work by the Croatian artist Marijan Matijević.
The panel titled “Remembering Resistance: Memory Politics, Antifascist Museums, and Partisan Art in Croatia and Carinthia” features art historians Sanja Horvatinčić and Markus Gönitzer.
